Rainbows everyday

Hello Ireland :)

After the adventurous 32 hour flight we had from KL, it's a relieve we actually made it here. Coz the plane from KL to amsterdam had to stop in Berlin due to a slight problem. One of the engines broke down after we took off from KL. And the pilot only told us about the engine like an hour before we stopped at berlin. He said it was OK for such plane to run with only three engines left, but will consume more petrol. Best kan the pilot? And even before that, our the flight to amsterdam was delayed. TWICE. Supposed to terbang at 11.40pm (KL time), then delayed to 12.30am, then 1am.

Arrive in Berlin at 7am local time. Had to take our luggage. Lined up to check in again for about, errr, 3 hours? We managed to get the 10.40am flight to amsterdam. So we had to quickly go board the plane. Didnt even get the chance to round2 berlin airport. Sigh. And the security checks are SUPER FRIGGIN TIGHT. Buka kasut, buka tali pinggang, buka jaket, bagi keluar laptop, poket bagi kosong, body checks using metal detectors. Nothing like Malaysia truly asia kan? Sangat bagus *clap clap*. Yi Jet was brought to the security room, cause the berlin security thought his laptop was a bomb (HAHA).

KLM gave us some vouchers when we got to amsterdam for the delays caused. So the others went makan, where i was super full. I had been eating non-stop since i got on the plane from KL. KLM's food SUCK. But eating kills time, no? :) HAHA.

5th day in UCD (it's sunday 1am already) . UCD is massive. SANGAT BESAR. Its still summer here, so the days are long. Oh, and there are barely sunny days. Yeah, summer with little sun. My thoughts of summer sangat la salah. In ireland la of course. So far, there's plenty of rain and never ending wind. So when the sun is out, there's rainbow. Btw, did i mentioned that the window in my room have gaps on the sides? And my heater is not working? And the study lamp has gone kapoot? Yeaaa. Basically, everytime the wind blows i for sure will know. My room is like a fridge. If i put cold milk in my room, it will stay forever cold. Stupid heater. Then suddenly one day, (on wednesday i think) i was soo cold, i lost it. I took some toilet rolls and stuff it all at the gaps of the window. Very smart eyh? LOL. But my room is still cold. Sebab no heater. Bodoh. Haih. Mum called that very day and told me to go buy warm clothes. She must be worried. Hmm.

The seniors had organized activities for us and helped us in finding our ways in UCD. And later today, they're going to bring us to the city. Show us places and stuff. Jadi, i better go and sleep, 1.30am dy. I'll post some more later. Toodles!
