and I subconsciously corrected her,

And true enough, it wasn't him.

I have been thinking about this for a while now.

And the thought of my parents dying makes me restless.
I feel disturbed to even imagining post-parents-dying scenarios.

At the age of 20, my mother was already earning on her own, and planning on her future family.

At a young age of 12, maybe even younger, my grandmother was already earning money the hard way, helped her mother raised her siblings.

I am currently 22, the eldest child in my family, and ashamed to admit that I am still depending on my parents to continue living, everyday. Be it financially and in life decisions.

Yes, I am ashamed. And I am scared.

What if my parents die on me before I even finish medical school?
How do I go on with life from there?
How am I to support my siblings?

Eventually people will die on you, sooner or later.

Who struggled to put you through school?
Who struggled finding ways to make sure you get better from your sickness?

That "significant other" who you put forward so much before others who were already in your life before the "significant other" came?
Does your "significant other" remind you that the world is temporary?
Does your "significant other" remind you to be steadfast in your faith, daily prayers and in doing good deeds?

"Significant otherS" come and go.
"Significant otherS" may cheat on you.
You'll have a list of "significant otherS" throughout your life.

To love others when it encourages more love towards God, masyaAllah, is a blessing.

hey, is medical microbiology a tough subject! i recently did that subject and it was really comlicated i dnt know if i even did it well, also next sem i am taking pathology, is that subject a pain in the ass 2?

Pathology has a lot of overlappings. So if you know your stuff, I mean the important characteristics that distinguishes one condition from the other, then I'm sure you're all good for patho.

I wouldn't worry too much if you say you can't/ won't be able to remember all you've learned now to last till graduation. When you're out in the working world there's always "Google.com" to browse through, you know. Hehe. So, chin up :)

Honestly, microbe isn't my subject. Heck, I don't even know what IS my subject. I'm no "A+" student, mind you. I'm the very easygoing type who do less than most in my class, get the passing grade, and move on to the the next semester. As I wake up everyday, I try to be as optimist as possible so that the whole day no matter what happens I'll still feel content. I don't like to start my day feeling negative. Who does anyways.
But lately that optimism has downgraded a bit.
Maybe a little more than "a bit".
I realized I'm not disciplined enough to finish tasks that I'm suppose to, to achieve those marks that I have set.
I don't feel like a good example.
I just feel......incompetent.
Like I've given up, without even trying.
Why? Because I haven't done anything much.
I'm counting hours instead of making them count.
I look away from things that are more important & urgent (example: now - posting instead of mm, notes).
I don't know.

I would cry if I could, but I can't.

I put up a smiling face, I try not to go all emo, but I couldn't push aside the shitty feeling deep down inside.

Another note:

People say they understand you, they know you, but I don't believe that. Nobody knows anybody long enough to know who/how the person really is. Because attitude changes, "likes" changes, "dislikes" changes, people change, everything around us change. The only thing constant is change.

( What I should have said: Nobody knows anyone that well as everyone changes by the day, the hour, the minute, maybe even in seconds. Change is inevitable, so embrace change :D )

I'm not a homesick type of person, but its times when I feel like this is when I wish I could fly back to my hometown for the weekend, just because. Given the situation now, it would take a day for that journey to be made so that would leave me with only a few hours to spare in my parents house, so its just pointless to even think of it as an option now.

So, In the past two days (that's 48 hours), I've only had 6 hours of sleep.

Recently it has been bad. Lagi-lagi masa mandi dan sikat rambut. Semakin bertambah rasa gila meroyan.

Sebab tiba-tiba teringat pasal benda ni before heading home I headed off to the pharmacy nearby my house. Pegi lah jumpa makcik pharmacy tu and so I told her about it and asked if there's anything I can do to reduce the severity of the condition.

Makcik: Hmmm. Have you been in a lot of stress lately?

***the eyebags must've been such an easy giveaway.

Si rambut gugur: Err, not really....mmm we've been kind of having a number of exams since the past few weeks. So yea, I guess you could say so. And because of the amount of hair falling every time I shower and comb, it adds up more to the stress.

Makcik: Well then. There's nothing you can do. It's because of the stress really.

Si rambut gugur: ................Nothing? :'(

Rasanya makcik tu rasa kesian tengok saya hampir diambang menitiskan air mata masa cakap "I don't want to be bald before even reaching 25" makanya dia pun pegi lah carikan saya supplemement for hair.

Mungkin sebenarnya dia cari untuk pujuk saya supaya tidak bersedih.

Well, stress is stress, regardless of what causes it. Wouldn't say one is worse than the other. Stress is generally not a good thing, brings more bad than good. Important thing is just to manage it; go out, exercise, have a boys/girls day out, talk to someone, etc.

Oh and if you're stressed up, just try not to spread the negative energy and make people around you stressed up too. It's just not nice.

Life is about having to decide, make choices, all the time. Sometimes we make some wrong turns and feel regretful. Why the heck did I do that? I should have did this instead. Why didn't I think of that earlier? OR in relationships context: Why did I ever liked him/her? I can't believe I thought he/she's my friend for life! Why? Why? Why??

GOOD NEWS! S'okay to feel that way. Who doesn't make mistakes? We all do at some point :)

'Regret' is a valid reason to feel down & the need for some solitary moment..............for a while. I stress, FOR A WHILE.

Life's short, why watch life pass you by? For you to spend it feeling sad (for a looooong time) is such a waste!

Point is....

ONE - FACE YOUR MISTAKE, don't runaway from it! You've evaluated & realized it was the wrong choice

TWO - Take time to forgive yourself (before you forgive, if the situation involves another party, others) Regret, indenial are all part of the road to recovery

THREE - Put it in the past, try not no make the same mistake in the future

FOUR - Shake it off. Pull yourself together. Move on, i.e. there's always a solution to anything; nothing is impossible anyway, right?

p/s: By solution, I don't mean bitching around about your problem. Instead, find ways (still, not bitching) that you know will help you get over whatever you did. Finds things to do, things that make you feel better and happy.

For some, the mistake(s) hit them hard. Traumatized, feeling feeble, like not being able to stand up & face the world anymore. Well that's bullshit. Tell them they're being over dramatic.

Kalau kau mau mengarut jadi over dramatic sebab telampau cantik,

dipersilakan terjun bangunan sekarang

I'm kidding, it's part of the recovery process, they've been hurt, so please be supportive.

And you, yes YOU, the hurting one. Be considerate to those who are trying to help you, they might offer all they can to you, but remember they have their lives to live too. Feeling hurt doesn't give you the privilege to take advantage of those who care. They might be friends of 20 years, or a best friend who loves you dearly, or all else of similar types. Give them a call/confide to them when you REALLY need them only. If you keep them on the phone 24/7, please get this registered in your brain, they do get bored you know, hearing the same thing again and again.

Anyway, talking about recovery. You might not be able to stand up on your own at first, no worries, you're only human. We understand. A helping hand(s) might be needed to help you stand up again, to be your crutch, your support system. Hopefully you've been surrounding yourself with good friends, if you have none, then there's always your family.

The thing is, even if there's a gazillion hands helping you but you're not even helping yourself then there's no point. If you won't let yourself recover, then save us the trouble & don't bother wasting the time of others trying to help you. Yes, that's harsh but, that is also the truth. So, you decide which route you'd like to embark on after a fall down. You choose your destination.

It may take 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months and for some, even more. Different trauma impact have different refractory & recovery period. Give the recovery period some time to work its miracle. Time does heal, you know :)

I just hope it doesn't take you too long to get back up on your feet and running, because you might miss out on the best of life during those sad sappy moment of yours!

It's 4 in the morning & I'm bored.

Went out with my mates today, since its been a while (padahal baru seminggu x jumpa) since we hang out. Did the usual stuff, ate ate ate, mall hopping (yeah nowadays we waste money more on food and paying for the parking tickets [-.-"] ) walked around, look at shoes, buy things that we want not what we need; compared to what we did when we were "younger", (almost every weekend) where we stayed in one place (mall), but the activities' always movie, eat, arcade +/- kbox. Yeah we weren't productive teenagers, but I think Growball Cinema and FunSquare should thank us for every penny that we made them richer by the weekend(s).

But the one thing that hasn't change: No matter where we go, we're as loud and crazy as ever (No no, don't get us wrong for the rempit type of loud you see pestering around midvalley arcade, we're more civilised than that, we dress and smell better). Even at formal events, like a wedding at a hotel. Pernah kau dengar when a bunch of friends separated by tables at a wedding event say "Waiter, boleh sambung meja ka?" (-.-") Ohmagaaad.

p/s:
The "sambung meja" at the wedding didn't happen, cause in the end they (the hotel) managed to get us another table, where all 9 of us could sit together. Haha

Another p/s:
I was ferickin bored, so I googled up some random stuff (**thank you to my sister for giving me the idea of random googling and wikipedia search) and surprise surprise, who would've thought I'd found such "interesting" reading materials. Articles from 3-4 years ago; written down secretly in the cyberworld, but wasn't set privately to prevent *ehem ehem* strangers (like me) from reading it. The surprising part is, I don't know who's the author, but i know the person the author mentioned in the article, and I know the friends of the author. Wehehehe *evil grin*

Cautious.

While I was out today, my dad called and told me that 1 of our neighbors been robbed. That means the robbery usually goes on for a few houses, before the robbers actually stop robbing. Haih. I can't take any of this anymore. I'm just a helpless mini individual with no strength to fight back, I'm no superwoman.... cewah drama betul kau pffhhht.

Maybe I should get a dog.

I was in the car with my mother between 7pm and 8.30pm, we had the usual random conversations. And I opened up to her about some stuff that I know she was/is rigid about when I was younger (I think she still stiffens up when I talk about this; mothers, they can't help it but to be over protective) and her response though more open than before, her advice that came after her answer hit me hard. Not that hard, but hard enough to made quiet.

I know I disagree with her opinions/suggestions alot, but this one I know she was right. Very right.

My mama said "Stay away from these things, those people. You think they think the way you do? When jealousy strikes, it encourages alot of things; most of them idiotic actions. You never know, even if they are your friends. It can be the worse of things."

From where I'm standing, I don't see anything wrong because I've drawn the lines, and I have no intentions of crossing them.

But I'll keep what she said in mind.

Then the topic changed when she went all frantic when I said "Hmm I think that's my ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend lah mom"

Harini rasa happy sebab baru perasan blog anak mat nor rupa-rupanya sudah ada update.....sebulan yang lalu!! Setelah hampir setahun tiada update. Wohh I rekomen you all baca blog dia lawak gila ah mampu menceriakan hati no matter what weh. Mula-mula dulu Hatim A.R. yang introduce blog anak mat nor ni kat I masa exam dulu, I ketawa rasanya boleh bergegar dunia (ok, hyperbole), hah ketawa banyak sangat tekeluar ilmu sampai exam terkial-kial menjawab. Cis.

Oh by the way, this is not the "long entry" that I said I'll be posting after exams. That one shall come laaaaater.

Sekarang mahu bagitahu, muka saya penuh dengan breakouts (acne) sana sini. Memang bengong betul, masalah keremajaan ni kick in lambat, I sudah in my 20's baru nak start breakouts banyak gila sana sini heshhh. Rupa saya sekarang macam ni:

Saja mahu bagitau, cameron diaz yang cun ni pun ada masalah acne juga, macam saya, tapi saya tidak cun macam dia (cewah jadi kalau kau ada massive breakouts lagi kau mahu bajet cameron diaz, amirah? perghh).

And I thought I was having breakouts haritu sebab probably it's a post-period thing, makan tidak jaga (eh sejak bila pula pandai jaga makan?) and because of exams. Sekali sudah habis exams pun, seems like they're not showing any signs of going away. Makin banyak ada lah. Mahu buat apa pun tidak tahu. Its like a mass of invasive inflamed sebaceous glands just going everywhere on my face. I don't know what went wrong, I cleanse my face, I use the usual stuff that i put on my face, haven't introduced anything unsual or new.

Kalau mama nampak mesti dia marah sebab fikir saya tidak jaga kulit baik-baik. (T_T)

Ok saya emo. Period tidak lama lagi........mahu pergi makan sekarang. Btw, it's 2am now.

Not that aaaanyone actually reads my blog (pfffhhh), but anyhow I promise to write a fekin long entry soon (or later) after exams are over. The exams and mixed emotions and surroundings has gotten to me, and I feel the need of putting what's in my head and heart into words. And since no one actually reads my blog (well, except for a few friends who I think are countable with one hand), I guess it's "safe" to be all emo here.

Just a random note.
Yesterday's paper made me feel like slitting my wrist. And the one I just had today just made me feel slitting my throat with a size 5 scalpel (to be exact, mind you). Yes, this is slow, painful death.

Just like my exam papers (T_T)

And I guess by the end of the exams, ont 10th May if you must know, we'll get to the part where I hang myself.

Eh wait, no. I still have Morocco to look forward to. The beach, best mates and time together. Hows that for post exam therapy? :)

I'm back jogging, again. Cewah cewahhh padahal baru dua hari lah kau jogging. Pfffhhht.

I jog....for fun.
I jog....bila (ramai) orang BISING cakap saya gemuk, tembam, berisi, dan semua lah yang sewaktu dengannya (kalau tidak, memang saya tidak kisah/perasan pun gemuk)
I jog....for stamina (wah wahh, dimanalah kau simpan stamina tu? di bawah lapisan lemak perut? perrghh)
I jog....because I prefer sweating than shopping.

Well basically I jog for another gazillion reason, but one of the most important reason why I jog, is when there's something bothering me. Messing with my head, and I don't feel like talking about it. When I jog because of this specific reason, there's gonna be (a) song(s) playing in my head; from earphones or just simply a tune that's in my head; a song(s) that reminds me of the thing that bothers me. The moment I start to run, the song(s) automatically plays, and as I run I'm constantly reminded of the thing that's bothering me. That is why at most times when I jog because of this, I don't realize how fast and how far I've been running; I'm not really looking where I'm going, I'd just.....run, till I can run no more. I'd be honest to say that, in person, I'm a failure in expressing myself; like really, given a situation where (as a normal person) I should be angry or sad, I instead could smile and be all happy, filled with the joys of Christmas (ok ini pinjam ayat muni). But once I start jogging, I could feel my emotions coming out, real ones, the ones that perfectly suit the situation; angry, sad, all those that I don't usually show (sebenarnya tidak tau lagi emotion apa yang ada, i told you i jarang express proper emotions, all i know is happy happy happy)

I taklah hot macam minah ni masa jogging, i ni gadis dari kampung....dengan lemak-lemak berlipat sana sini.

ok ini barulah ada macam i sikit bila jogging, tinggal tukar dia jadi perempuan ja

When I'm jogging, that's the time I get to feel properly. That's the time when you get to see me express what I really feel. You might see me all hyped happy, or angry, or if you're lucky you might just see tears rolling down my cheeks. After jogging for a distance, while thinking, I'll go home. Rest for a bit. By this time, I'll be too tired to think about it anymore, I'd shower, and then most probably sleep, with high hopes that whatever that's been bothering me will just *poooof* go away after I wake up. I know, its silly; stuff that's bothering you won't go away just like that. But that's how I go on by, that's how I keep myself....happy and functioning as days go by. Waking up, I'll forget for a while...till someone/something reminds me about it. And I'd run again the moment I feel bothered again...and hoping and hoping and hoping that it'll just go away. I'm naive like that, pardon me for me for this immaturity.

Tapi tapi tapi, itu kalau jogging sebab ada benda bikin kusut otak lah. Kalau tiada, memang lari seja. Tapi selalunya kalau lari saja-saja, memang nafas tidak tahan hahahahahahhaha! Orang bilang kapus-kapus bah pancit nda ketahanan, baru sikit ja lah kau lari perempuan hahahahahahaha!

Sebab weekends saya ada hal, so hari sabtu tanpa fikir panjang terus bawa Syahir pegi park on Tuesday. On Monday last minute call lagi Hatim dan Elia, dan Aliyah.

Went for a picnic with lovely looovely friends on Tuesday ♥. Phoenix Park.

The sun was shining, tapi the Irish wind tidak juga mahu kalah ada juga dia bertiup sana masa kami picnic. Pffffhh.

But it was ok. Had food, played ball, sang together, talked abit about stuff.

Camera Hatim yang guna battery tu habis battery jadi hanya mampu mengabil beberapa photos sahaja haish. Tapi apapun terima kasih hatim for the pictures!
